It must have been a bug, so the ship needs to be given back. If itĘs not, then itĘs an obvious attempt to play favoritism to the Goons for constant whining. CCP canĘt admit to their game still having bugs, so they wonĘt give MoM back. ItĘs a conspiracy, I tell you.
CCP is afraid of any more bad publicity and another spam from goons if they give MoM back, so they wonĘt, even tough they know that it was a combination of a bug and an exploit to kill it.
Quick, spam CCP in protest BoB. It seems to work.
To bad logging isn't an exploit or you might have a point, as for bug well that sucks but if they gave his back the guy in IAC would have to get his back.
BTW nice job RA very well thought out and patient. And the coordination to get a kill like this is amazing very few people could pull it off.
I think you miss the point of that post, what he want to say is that despit everyone saying supercaps can't be killed without using metagaming here is a proof that good planing can do the work just as well.
And to the people who did this, amazing work with planing that far a head and with the will to put the plan to work. I'm sure the people who went into the plex to get killed time after time had a hard time seeing there ships die but in the end it paid off.
It took incredible planning in order for the opportunity to present itself but it also took a desync bug and poor implementation on the part of the MS pilot for this to work. If the desync bug hadn't occured and if the pilot had a cyno in place the MS would have not died. Motherships are indeed still unkillable if the pilot prepares for the encounter properly and game mechanics hold up. Part of the RA/Xdeath strategy however was to get the MS pilot in a frame of mind so that they would make that critical mistake which was a fantastic move.
